The Damisch Farmstead
The Barn 1893 is a single gabled, ramped dairy barn, since repurposed for dream weddings. The Barn shares 4 acres of land with the 1934 two story Highstyle Colonial Revival brick house, affectionately known as the Damisch Farmstead.
Situated upon a hill in the country, The Barn’s charming beauty is highlighted by the surrounding farm fields, fruit trees, and vintage outbuildings. Additionally, the property is registered under Kane County’s Historical Landmarks.

The Rest is History
The Barns debut event in 2017 marked the beginning of its new purpose. Our son John and his new wife Jill hosted 185 guests in celebration of their marriage. Since then we have expanded into other events including bridal showers, birthdays, and graduation parties. We take great pleasure in providing a gathering place for people to come together and celebrate.

The atmosphere was clean, with unique decor and friendly staff. It is truly a beautiful location, authentically rich in history and it made for a very enjoyable time.
